The power of arts: Arts & cultural experiences evoke the emotional responses that change the way people feel, think, and ultimately act about social justice issues
The intersectionalities of our sociopolitical issues: Systems of oppression are reliant on one another, which means that our work towards freedom must be mindful of all our struggles and work towards our collective liberation
Cross-border collaboration and resource sharing: We have, amongst ourselves, everything we need to succeed and there is enough for everybody
Supporting each other’s movements and projects: Those of us who do this work are not outliers, and by supporting and uplifting one another, we can tap into our collective strength and power
#CultureFix is a global network of artists, activists, and entrepreneurs who connect across borders and use their platforms to build alternatives to white supremacy, patriarchy, capitalism, and colonialism.
The radical change we imagine is not only possible, it is happening amongst individuals and in communities all around the world. #CultureFix connects and amplifies those people while offering support, resources, and a bit of joy.
Facilitate relationships between folks interested in arts, cultural organizing, entertainment education, and community building across borders, genres, sectors, and industries for meaningful collaboration and creative partnerships
Curate virtual experiences, including panels, conferences, festivals, and workshops
Moderate critical, thought-provoking, and interactive conversations about the intersection of arts, culture, and social change from a global, inclusive perspective
Incubate ideas and projects, providing thought partnership, logistical support, and other resources
Host on-going events for community, mental health, information-exchange, and skills-building.
Amplify the work of others doing good in the world.
